About four months after my girl's 14th birthday I noticed she wasn't acting her normal self. The healthy girl I know and love was struggling to do her normal daily routines such as even eat her food. I knew changes had to be made to help accommodate my girl's seasoned stage of life better. I came across so much material regarding the importance of diet, especially in the "golden" years of dogs. It was after a trip to our vet that I came across an Our Pet's Kitchen brochure. I was elated to find an answer for my girl's sudden struggle to eat!! Lesa has been the most sweet and informative breathe of fresh air to helping my girl's appetite and overall health get back on track. Mary Jane absolutely loves her food from Our Pets' Kitchen. I love the variety, convenience, and most of all mental reassurance that my girl is being fed nutritious healthy food that she LOVES to boot!! THANK YOU SO MUCH OPK!!
Simone can be very picky and sometimes goes without eating her dinner for 2 days. Well last night when I took OPK from the refrigerator she actually came into the kitchen and was very interested in what I was making. She had never done that. Well when I put it down for her she scarfed it right up! I was one happy mama!
Riley absolutely loves her Our Pets' Kitchen meals! Riley has had some anxiety issues leading to weight loss which affected her coat and demeanor. After trying medications which were difficult to get her to ingest due to the appetite issues, we gave Our Pets' Kitchen foods a try. Riley couldn't get to her bowl fast enough and looked to us for more! She has put back on the weight she lost and her coat is shiny and healthy again. She is also less anxious and much more friendly with everyone she meets, almost like a puppy again. People cannot believe she is nine years old. We definitely recommend Our Pets' Kitchen foods for your pets.
Waffles started on OPK in the Spring 2018 and the transition was seamless! Switching her over slowly, she very quickly started eating the OPK food first, leaving the other stuff for last. We are set up for auto-delivery and they deliver right to our door, every 2 weeks, and we always have 2+ bags of food in reserve. Waffles doesn’t discriminate, she goes CRAZY for it all! Our pet sitter knows the routine and even she says the food looks good enough to eat!
I had been looking for a better food source for Momo and Booboo for some time. They are senior cats and I have been worried about the quality of even the highest end store bought food. When Momo had some slightly elevated kidney test results it made me think about preparing their food myself but the task seemed too daunting. At that point in time Sister in law told me that she had starting given OPK to her dog and was very happy with the results. After the first shipment the cats (and I) were hooked. I feel great about the amazing quality of Lesa's product, i see a noticeable difference in their coats and they are very happy with both the Chicken & Fish and Turkey recipes for cats. The only issue is now have to be more vigilant about them sneaking to each other's dishes :)
Samson is our 14 year old black lab mix. He LOVES the OPK food! He gets fed twice a day and he gets so excited when it is time to eat. As an older guy he has arthritis in his hips, since switching him to OPK, he has trimmed down to a healthy weight, thus putting less stress on his hips. Lesa does a great job educating us on how our pets should eat, she is very knowledgeable and LOVES animals, yes she actually cares!
Daisy, our Cocker Spaniel developed severe allergies at about 9 months of age. She began chewing her paws and scratching herself non-stop. We brought her to the vet and she was put on several different brands of food for dogs with food sensitivities. Daisy continued to chew her paws and also didn’t like the taste. At one point, it got so bad that she was throwing up and refusing to eat unless we fed her by hand. We were very concerned about her health and desperate to figure out the root cause of her condition. We were interested in feeding her non-processed human grade food and it was through word of mouth that we discovered the brand OPK. Not only has she stopped chewing her paws but also she licks her bowl clean. We are relieved and thrilled that our pup is thriving. We can’t say enough good things about this brand!
Lucy LOVES her OPK food. She literally licks her bowl clean! And, we are happy to know she is eating food made with ingredients we recognize and understand. If I had time to research and cook food for Lucy myself, OPK would be exactly what I made!
Our Dignified Duchess Sheba Augustus doesn't lose her composure for much of anything. She is not phased by our feline or her K-9 Kibble. But, after her first taste of Our Pets' Kitchen something happened. She was no longer nonchalant about meal time, she actually began to drool waiting for me to fill her food dish on her next feeding!!! She has totally flipped her dignified disposition for this delicious doggy dining experience. Thank You Our Pets' Kitchen, she loves all three flavors!!!!
There are many things I like about OPK and the food they prepare, including how you can see and recognize each and every one of all the ingredients. The one thing I like the most is the way OPK demonstrates overwhelming enthusiasm for my pets’ health, and the almost evangelist pride they have in their solution for providing homemade delicious and nutritious food that any human would devour, much less any pet. I never saw my dog eat food that fast, she loves it! And, there were no digestive issues which usually happens when switching or introducing a new food. I found the experience of working with Lesa and her team at OPK to be delightful and rewarding. It was as if I had met someone who actually cared more about my dog’s health and well-being than even I did. I would whole heartedly and without reservation recommend OPK to anyone who truly cares about their pets’ overall health, and who wants to know what’s in their pets’ food.
I have a senior lab, Hattie Girl, and she is 14. She stopped eating her full servings of dry food (which, can you blame her?). I started feeding her Our Pets' Kitchen gently cooked human food, and she eats every last bite. I want her golden years to be filled with good health and Our Pets' Kitchen gives her delicious meals that keep her happy and healthy!
This food is truly amazing. We have a 12 year-old Jack Russell named Bean, who like many “Jacks”, suffers from seasonal allergies and scratch to the point of removing their fur. This blend of food not only alleviates his scratching, but has also stopped his constant begging for treats. He eats his complete meal in the morning and again in the evening. Now he only gets a treat when we decide. No more expensive prescriptions. Thank you!
When I put Our Pets’ Kitchen next to my cat’s other food, he goes to OPK every time. I’ve also noticed his fur is softer since he’s been eating Our Pets’ Kitchen.
We periodically watch our daughters 10 year-old Boston Terrier, Isabelle, and 9 year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rocky. The Boston, whom we lovingly refer to as “Skizball”, has had health and skin issues since we got her. There is a noticeable difference in not only her fur but her energy level too. Rocky was always a messy eater, but now he cleans his bowl at each feeding, never missing a piece. The best part is that the food blend is easy to serve, easy to store, and doesn’t smell bad like commercial pet foods do.
We have a 2 year-old rescue Chihuahua named Cheech. He had skin issues and was a finicky eater. Now he has a nice healthy coat and cleans his bowl at each feeding!
While I try to mix up the dry dog food every few months, my 4 year-old husky mix, Shanti, became disinterested in eating it unless I added some human food, which even then she would still leave a good amount of kibbles behind. Once I began feeding her OPK recipes, she ate her full servings. She loves the variety of flavors (at least I think she does based on how excited she is for meal time)! The food is fresh and the different recipes offer my fur baby a variety without upsetting her belly.
My 10 year-old mystery breed, Butch, will eat almost anything. He gains weight easily, and I've tried almost every dry food out there, including limited ingredients and healthy weight brands. Once I started giving him OPK he started to trim down - and he LOVES their different recipes. The food smells so good that even us humans want to eat it!
